Realme is upgrading its mid-range lineup in the market, and now the successor to the Realme 8 series is here in the form of 9. And this time, the brand has added a Pro Plus variant to its portfolio. The new Realme 9 series phone sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2400 pixels, which translates into pixel density of 411 PPI. The screen gets a punch hole design for the selfie camera. The 9 Pro Plus comes powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The new Realme 9 series phone features a triple rear camera that comprises of 50MP primary sensor, 8MP sensor, and 2MP sensor. On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera that also support video calls. The phone gets backed up with a 4500mAh battery that supports 60W fast charging via USB Type C port. Other features on the phone are on-screen fingerprint sensor, face unlock and headphone jack for music streaming. Realme Narzo 30,  Realme Q3i and the Realme X7 Max.

Verdict
Realme 9 Pro Plus is the latest addition to its lineup and makes a strong case for being a quality buy. It sports a compact design with an AMOLED display that carries a quality rear camera. The 5G-supported Dimensity 920 offers decent performance as well. However, the storage is not expandable, the front camera is basic on this device. Still worth considering for most users.

The display comes with a punch hole layout which houses the front camera. The 20:9 aspect ratio display offers larger viewing area and screen to body ratio of 83 percent. The power button is on the right, and the volume rocker sits on the left side of the phone. The main security features are on-screen fingerprint sensor built under the screen and face unlock that works through the selfie camera.
