Realme X7 Max is the latest offering from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. It is a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo launched earlier. The new X7 Max from Realme houses a 6.55-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes safeguarded by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The bezel-less display has a punch-hole type design at the top left corner to accommodate the selfie camera. In the optical department, the smartphone features a triple camera setup headlined by a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has a single 32MP front-facing camera. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus MT6889Z octa-core processor clubbed with 8GB of RAM. For storing user data and files, the phone packs 128GB of non-expandable internal memory. The smartphone derives its power from the 4500mAh Li-Polymer battery. It supports fast charging through the USB Type-C port. Verdict
Realme X7 Max is the first phone to use MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. You get 12GB RAM onboard, and 256GB storage. The 6.43-inch AMOLED screen supports 120Hz refresh rate and gets Dragontrail protection. The phone offers 50W fast charging support. However, the design is flat, and the device has a plastic back panel. The storage is not expandable and the battery life is average.

Design and Display
The Realme X7 Max sports a 6.55-inches Super AMOLED display, offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The bezel-less display of the handset features a Corning Gorilla Glass v5 protection. The aspect ratio of the display is 20:9, and it has a high pixel density of 402ppi. There is a punch-hole at the top left corner of the display for the selfie camera. 
Camera and Security
On the optical front, the smartphone equips a triple rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. Of the three rear cameras, the primary camera is 64MP, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. There is a single 32MP selfie camera at the front that also assists in video calling. For secure biometric authentication, the smartphone equips a fingerprint sensor on the side.
 
Storage and Performance
In terms of storage, the smartphone houses 128GB onboard internal memory for storing user files, apps, games, multimedia and more. The chipset included in the phone is MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus MT6889Z octa-core processor built on the 7nm process. The phone houses 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking performance. The graphical requirements of the device are addressed by a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

The Realme X7 Max is fueled by a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast-charging through a USB Type-C port. The battery is Li-Polymer type and is non-removable in nature.
