The new smartphone in the M-series comes with several improvements over the Galaxy M11 launched last year. The notable feature is the 90Hz refresh rate display, making it the first in the M-series with such a high-screen refresh rate. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch TFT display bearing a V-shaped notch at the center of the display, housing the selfie camera. The smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the rear featuring a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The selfie lovers can thrive on the 8MP camera at the front. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. For power backup, the phone features a beefy 6000mAh battery. It supports 15W fast-charging for a quick refill of the battery. The phone comes with a decent enough storage capacity of 128GB to store the files and data of the users. Also, it supports a user expandable storage capacity of up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone runs Android 11-based Samsung One UI out of the box. Samsung Galaxy M12 128GB is the latest budget offering from the brand with an impressive specs sheet. The phone sports a 90Hz AMOLED display, 128GB internal memory that is expandable up to 1TB. For optics, there are quad-rear cameras (48MP+5MP+2MP+2MP) and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by the company s Exynos 8 Octa 850 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. As for the cons, the device does not feature any screen protection, and it is difficult to operate with a single hand for long hours owing to its bulky nature (221grams).
