The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and packs up to 12GB of RAM. The phone also features 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is loaded with a triple-camera setup with a combination of a 50MP primary sensor. For selfies and video calling, the brand has added a 32MP shooter. The Xiaomi 12 Pro runs on the Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13 on top of it. It is backed by a 4,600mAh battery and supports fast charging technology. The phone comes with a leading display technology and offers flagship performance with the latest Snapdragon chipset. The device also features flagship-grade camera features and comes with a premium design language. However, the company has cut some corners in terms of IP rating. But apart from this, this is one of the best smartphones you can buy in 2022.

Design and Display
The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro comes with a premium design language. The phone comes with a metal frame and the back panel provides a velvet matte texture finish. The most interesting part here is that the rear panel can self-heal from small scratches. Moreover, the panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro is available in Gray, Purple, and Blue colour options. In terms of display, the smartphone is loaded with a 6.73-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display which comes with a screen resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. The screen comes with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, meaning that it can go as low as 1Hz depending on the screen content. The phone also features up to 1,500nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. 
Performance and UI
The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The chipset comes with a high-performance Cortex X2 core clocked at 3GHz along with Cortex A710 and Cortex A510 that provides state-of-the-art performance. The chipset also features Adreno 730 GPU to handle graphics-intentive tasks. The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro packs 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which is non-expandable via a microSD card slot. The handset runs on MIUI 13, which is based on the Android 12 operating system.
