Xiaomi Redmi 5 (64GB)

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 64GB is yet another affordable smartphone out of the stables of the Chinese smartphone vendor. The device features a metal unibody design capped with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader which can record multiple fingerprints and can be used to unlock the device. The company also claims that the device is coupled with the dual pyrolytic sheet technology for heat dissipation which is optimised for Indian environmental conditions.
The device ships with all the standard options for connectivity. The options include 4G with VoLTE support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and a microUSB 2.0 port. There is dual SIM support too. 

Bundled with a 12-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, the smartphone is designed to capture quality images and videos. Even in dark conditions, there is an LED flash to support photography.
As far as storage is concerned, you get 64GB of internal storage space which you can use to install apps and store data. If that does not suit your requirements, there is an option to expand the memory further using a microSD card up to 128GB. 

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 64GB is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,300mAh battery which is good enough to last throughout the day under normal to moderate usage. 
Under the hood, the device hosts an octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC which is paired with 4GB of RAM that ensures flawless performance besides aiding multitasking.  

On top, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display which is coupled with an aspect ratio of 18:9 that promises better and wider visual experience. 
On the software front, the Redmi 5 64GB is based on MIUI 9 wrapped under the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out of the box.
