Huawei Honor 8 Smart

The Honor 8 Smart is a variant of the Honor 8 smartphone, priced at Rs. 19,999 with a smaller RAM and storage space, but with a bigger battery and primary camera.

The Honor 8 Smart features an IPS LCD display that shows brilliant colors in Full HD resolution. In terms of design, the phone has a highly reflective glass back and features an aluminium bezel. The phone also features a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom edge, volume and power buttons on the left and right edges.

The phone runs Huawei s Emotion UI over Marshmallow 6.0. It is powered by an octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM on a Kirin 650 chipset that will effortlessly switch between apps and handle demanding applications. Storage space on the phone is at 16GB while the Honor 8 comes with 32GB of storage. The phone accommodates an SD card for expandable storage, but users might have to give up the second SIM card for this space.

The phone features a 13-megapixel primary camera that takes quality images aided by LED flash and laser autofocus. The camera can record videos in Full HD. The secondary camera on the phone is 8-megapixels that also takes clear images. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that will last about a day with moderate use.

The device accommodates dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C for charging and syncing with other devices, NFC, and GPS, aided by GLONASS and A-GPS. The phone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back for added security, as does the Honor 8 smartphone.
