Huawei P9

Huawei P9 is the flagship device out of the stables of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The device is expected to compete with the likes of Samsung and Apple in terms of both designing and specifications. The device is way better than the P8 as it comes with smooth edges and an unfussy look. It's all metal body, smooth glass front, and rounded edges make the device look premium. It is thin and light, weighs 144g and is only 6.95mm thick  

The smartphone flaunts a big 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection to keep the display on the device scratch free. It is one of the best smartphones when it comes down to display quality as the P9 comes with great viewing angles and good colour saturation.  

The Huawei P9 has an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor under the hood which is responsible for flawless performance. Although the device comes with a less powerful graphics processor, users can indulge themselves in odd games like Asphalt 8 and Super Crossfighter. Working on multiple apps simultaneously should not be an issue as the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM paired with an internal storage space of 32GB which can accommodate all the essential apps and personal files. If that does not match your requirement there is an expansion slot which can boost the storage up to 128GB via a microSD card using the Hybrid SIM slot.  

The latest version of Emotion UI looks more polished than the previous versions and is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone under the camera strip which is blazing fast  

In terms of connectivity, the Huawei P9 comes with several options including 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and a microUSB Type-C reversible port. The device is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery that lasts for an entire day with heavy usage.  

The P9 is the first phone to come with two full resolution cameras on the back. With a dual 12-megapixel rear camera, one can click stunning images and record Full HD videos in both dark and bright environments thanks to the presence of dual-LED flash. On the front, to capture selfies and make video calls there is an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.
