The Huawei Y3 (2018) is an entry-level smartphone that ships with modest specifications. The device is the company's first Android Go offering. Android Go is specifically designed for low-end devices. The Huawei Y3 (2018) sports a plastic rear panel with the company logo. 
The smartphone is armed with a quad-core MediaTek SoC and 1GB of RAM which handles daily tasks with ease and offers a smooth performance.

Being an entry-level smartphone, the Huawei Y3 (2018) comes with an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The primary sensor also comes with an LED flash to help you in low-light situations. The Huawei Y3 (2018) is backed up by a non-removable Li-Ion 2,280mAh battery which is expected to support talk time up to 5 hours. 

The Huawei Y3 (2018) runs the Android 8.1 Oreo (Android Go) operating system out of the box. Go is Android iteration for entry-level handsets. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display which is decent and does its job pretty well. The smartphone is 9.45 mm thick and weighs 180 grams. 

Loaded with all the standard connectivity options which include 4G with VoLTE support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Users also have the option of using two SIM cards at the same time.
On the storage front, the Huawei Y3 (2018) ships with an onboard storage space of 8GB which you can expand further using a microSD card up to 128GB. One of the important aspects of the device is that it ships with a dedicated expansion slot instead of a Hybrid SIM structure.
