Intex Aqua 5.5 VR

The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR is an entry-level device priced at under Rs. 10,000 with basic core specs and 4G VoLTE support. The device gets its name from its VR capabilities.

The 5.5 VR sports a 5.5-inch HD resolution display with 269 PPI pixel density that displays content with brightness and clarity on a large screen. The phone is 9.9 mm thick and 176 grams heavy. The device is available in champagne and blue colors.

The phone runs Marshmallow 6.0 on a MediaTek MT6737V chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM that takes care of everyday mobile tasks with ease. Storage space on this phone is 8GB of which about 4GB is available to the user. This can be expanded to 32GB with an SD card. The phone is also preloaded with 3D content and is equipped with VR capabilities.

The rear camera on the phone is 5-megapixels in addition to featuring dual LED flash and anti-shake to counter the effects of an unsteady hand. The camera app features the usual host of features such as panorama, geotagging, face and smile detection. The front camera is 5-megapixels that also captures simple images. The battery is 2,800mAh Li-ion that lasts about 15 hours.

The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR can hold two microSIM cards of which one can run 4G VoLTE while the other runs 3G. Other connectivity options in the phone are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone also supports GPS aided by A-GPS for navigation. A micro-USB 2.0 port charges the phone.
