The Stylus 2 Plus comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD Full HD resolution, an upgrade over the Stylus 2’s HD resolution screen, and 386 PPI pixel density display great for everyday mobile tasks, gaming, and entertainment with its ability to display high-contrast bright colors. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. When it comes to design, the phone comes with rounded, chrome edges, while the device itself measures a sleek 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm while weighing a light 146 grams. The phone fits a stylus into the top right corner. The phone is available in silver and brown exteriors.

The phone runs 6.0.1 Marshmallow on a Snapdragon 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM, an upgrade over the Stylus 2’s 1.5GB RAM, that can handle any mobile task with minimal effort. Storage space on the phone is limited to 32GB that can be increased to 256GB with a memory card. The highlight of the device is the stylus that allows users to practice calligraphy via the phone’s calligraphy mode, edit images with Pop Scanner and take notes with Pop Memo app. LG attributes the pen’s accuracy to its nano-coated tip, a step up from the LG Stylus 2 and LG G4 Stylus. The Pen Keeper feature enables the phone to notify the user when the stylus is missing from its slot.

The rear of the phone features a 16-megapixel camera that takes quality images with LED flash for low-light situations. This is an upgrade from the Stylus 2’s 13-megapixel camera. The selfie camera of the phone has an 8-megapixel camera that also takes quality images. The front and rear camera has LED flash. The camera app comes with a number of features such as autofocus, and a number of modes to capture the best images possible. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that will last a day.

The LG Stylus 2 Plus accommodates dual nano-SIM cards of which one supports 4G and 3G mobile data. Other connectivity features of the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and a microUSB 2.0 port. For accurate navigation, the phone supports GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS.
