LYF Flame 2

The Lyf Flame 2 is an entry level smartphone, and part of the Lyf series of smartphones made by Reliance. The phone supports 4G and is a budget friendly device that is priced under Rs 5,000.

The display measures 4.0-inches and is a TFT FWVGA display with a resolution of 480p and a pixel density of 245 ppi. These numbers make the device a basic smartphone that displays media at acceptable resolutions while providing users the advantage of being a small device that easily fits in the palm of their hand or pocket. The phone weighs 145 grams and is quite thick at 10.3 mm. The phone has a plastic body, available in black and white colors.

The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS like its counterpart, the Lyf Flame 1, but is powered by a MediaTek MT6735M SoC with a 1.1 GHz four-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and an ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU that is cost and energy efficient. The four core processor and 1GB LPDDR3 RAM should keep basic activities performed on the phone from lagging. Memory on the Flame 2 is limited to 8GB with no expandable storage.

The front and rear cameras on the Flame 2 are 5-megapixels and 2-megapixels. The 5MP camera has LED flash for low light conditions along with autofocus, geotagging, panorama, face detection, and HD recording features. The Lyf Flame 2 is powered by a 1,500mAh that lasts less than 8 hours, making it necessary to buy a power bank with this mobile.

The Flame 2 is a dual SIM mobile that supports a micro SIM and a mini SIM, 4G, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, WiFi b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope.
