MarQ is Flipkart’s in-house hardware brand in the market. We have already seen the company launch a slew of consumer durable products. And it also has smartphones in the market, like the new M3 Smart for budget-conscious buyers. This MarQ phone gets a 6.1-inch HD+ display that supports 720x1600 pixels resolution. The screen gets a waterdrop notch where you have the selfie camera, and offers pixel density of 288 PPI. The M3 Smart uses octa-core chipset, paired with 2GB RAM and offers 32GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using the dedicated card slot. The phone features a dual rear camera that includes a 13MP primary sensor, and a 2MP sensor. On the front, it gets a 5MP selfie camera. MarQ has loaded the M3 Smart with a 4000mAh battery that supports charging via microUSB port. Other features on the phone are face unlock, headphone jack and Infrared.

Verdict
MarQ M3 Smart is a basic phone meant for those who are new to smartphones. It packs an octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, offers expandable storage, and sports a large 6-inch HD+ screen. The single rear camera is good for the price, and so is the battery life. However, the phone's performance is average, only has microUSB port for charging and the front camera is basic. Better to buy other budget options.

The display houses the front camera built within the waterdrop notch at the top-centre. The 20:9 aspect ratio of the screen provides a larger viewing area and a screen to body ratio of 81 percent. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. For security purpose, this phone comes with face unlock support only.
