Motorola Moto G8

Much like its predecessor, the Moto G8 features a sleek design. It has a metal frame sandwiched between the glass panels. The company has added water repellent coating for protection against light rain and splashes. The handset has a distinct camera bump on the back. Moving on to the front, you get a display with waterdrop notch and thin-bezels. The 6.2-inch screen packs-in 2310 x 1080 pixels. This translates to the impressive pixel density of 411 ppi.

Motorola has chosen Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 chip to power the Moto G8. This SoC (System on Chip) has four performance Kryo 260 cores and four efficiency Kryo 260 cores. In the gaming department, you get the Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. There's also a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone offers a triple camera setup at the back. It comprises of 12 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP optics, to offer the fancy bokeh mode and much more. For selfies, there's a 13 MP single shooter.

The Moto G8 is a 4G VoLTE handset with dual SIM support. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS. Motorola has retained the good-old 3.5 mm audio jack. The phone holds a 3500 mAh battery, which should be enough to see you through an entire day. For quick battery top-ups, the device supports Motorola's Turbopower charging tech. The Moto G8 runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. It is almost like a stock version with a few Moto exclusive add-ons.
