Xiaomi announced the release of a 32GB version of their Mi Max 2 smartphone, which originally came is 64/128GB variants. Specifications and hardware wise, it is identical to the original Mi Max 2 and retains all of the devices' features.

The Xiaomi Max 2 32GB has a massive 6.4-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (342 ppi pixel density) which is powered by an Adreno 505 GPU and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The primary camera is 12-megapixels with a f/2.2 aperture lens, dual-tone LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. It can record 4K videos at 30 fps and 720p videos at 120 fps. The secondary camera is 5-megapixels with a f/2.0 aperture lens.
